Chairs, a commitment to university-business collaboration
The Chairs of Loyola University Andalusia are the instrument that articulates collaboration in University activities between companies and organizations of all types. In a Chair, prominent members of the aforementioned companies and organizations collaborate with teaching and research staff of the University. The fruit of this collaboration could be academic (teaching and research) or have as its essential objective innovation and divulgation, always with the essential purpose of obtaining a relevant social presence.
Currently, Loyola University Andalusia hosts the Loyola-Ferrer Chair and aims to promote the creation of new and active Chairs, always aiming to involve civil society (represented in this case by companies and organizations) in University activities. The goal is simply to achieve the necessary transfer of ideas and knowledge in order to inspire more focused teaching and research into the real problems of our society.
