Abstract This paper tries to deal with what features are necessary when designing Spanish as foreign language online writing exercises. In this type of exercises, it is important to remind and to assume the student temptation of copy-paste from different sources. Language teachers must reject these dirty tricks. Therefore, planning these exercises and activities at university levels should take into account some specific criteria to avoid this suggestive bad praxis. According to these proposals, this paper sets some guidelines that will help teachers to raise good sketches and habits.
