Abstract The present article describes the development process of an accessible technological system specifically designed for children training in experimentation of sound. Touch the Sound is based on the interaction between TUI objects (plastic pieces that children can move inside a two-axis space) and a tablet-based application that, through computer vision procedures. recognizes the piece, its position, and movement to playback audio files and modify different sound parameters in real time.
