Oana is an Agricultural and Food Economist specialising in the rigorousevaluation of public policies through advanced data analysis. She earned bothher MSc and PhD from the University of Reading, and her work lies at theintersection of health economics, food systems, and consumer behaviour. Her research integrates advanced statistical methods,econometrics, experimental approaches, and Big Data analytics to betterunderstand how individuals make decisions and how policy interventions canfoster healthier and more sustainable outcomes. She has extensive experience indesigning and analysing both primary and secondary datasets, applying discretechoice models, causal inference techniques, and innovative methods such asmouse-tracking to examine decision-making processes. Oana has conducted research and teaching at the LondonSchool of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and the University of Reading. Shehas also collaborated with international institutions including the World Bank,the European Commission, and the UK Department for Environment, Food &Rural Affairs (DEFRA), contributing to policy evaluation and evidence-basedpolicy design.
