| Abstract |
Some thinkers noted that theological reflection suffered from acosmi-city, and called for this deficiency to be remedied for the sake of the concept of God and the human being. In recent decades, with the ecological awakening, theology has taken up this challenge, albeit without completing it. In the light of Adolphe Gesché’s suggestive intuitions, we will trace the factors that led to the theology’s neglect of the cosmos and the reasons for its recovery. We will then suggest certain veins outlined by the theologies of creation to recosmify the Christian discourse, noting that they encourage a rethinking of the theological task thanks to interdisciplinary dialogue. © 2025 Instituto Teologico de Murcia.
