Juan Ivorra Martínez es Doctor por la Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) en el programa de Ingeniería y Producción Industrial. Su tesis doctoral, titulada “Procesado y caracterización de formulaciones industriales de poliésteres alifáticos mediante tecnologías de inyección y fabricación aditiva”, fue reconocida internacionalmente con el Polymers 2023 Best PhD Thesis Award.Su actividad investigadora se ha centrado principalmente en el desarrollo, procesado y caracterización de materiales poliméricos, con especial atención a polímeros biobasados y biodegradables y a la aplicación de tecnologías de transformación como la extrusión, la inyección y la fabricación aditiva. Durante su etapa postdoctoral amplió su experiencia investigadora en el Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC), donde trabajó en el ámbito de los materiales para almacenamiento de energía. Actualmente es Profesor Adjunto en la Universidad Loyola.
