Doctor en Psicología con calificación sobresaliente Cum Laude y mención internacional por la Universidad de Sevilla (2022), con la tesis titulada “Biopsychosocial profile of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) associated with liver transplantation and prevention of risk factors”. Graduado en Psicología por la Universidad de Sevilla (2015), Máster en Psicología General Sanitaria por la Universidad de Sevilla (2017), y Experto Universitario en Competencias Docentes por la Universidad Europea (2023). Su actividad investigadora se centra principalmente en dos líneas: a) la relación entre factores psicosociales como la calidad de vida, salud mental o estilo de vida, y enfermedades crónicas como la enfermedad hepática metabólica, diabetes u obesidad; b) la experiencia alrededor de la muerte: el deseo de anticipar la muerte y el duelo. A nivel de productividad científica, destacan hasta el momento 11 artículos indexados en JCR (7 Q1 y 4 Q2), 3 capítulos de libro indexados en SPI, y más de 30 comunicaciones en congresos nacionales e internacionales. Destaca la internacionalización de la trayectoria científica con estancias de investigación financiadas en la Newcastle University y la University Medical Center Mainz, así como la participación en proyectos de I+D de convocatorias nacionales e internacionales (Plan Estatal 2013-2016 Excelencia - Proyectos I+D, o Center for Outcomes Research in Liver Diseases, entre otros). El desempeño profesional ha estado vinculado previamente al Departamento de Personalidad, Evaluación y Tratamiento Psicológico de la Universidad de Sevilla, destacando la concesión de un contrato predoctoral FPU (2018-2022) o la contratación como Profesor Sustituto Interino (2023). Actualmente es Profesor Adjunto en el Departamento de Psicología de la Universidad Loyola Andalucía, donde imparte créditos universitarios en el Grado en Psicología y en el Máster en Psicología General Sanitaria. Ha dirigido numerosos Trabajos Fin de Grado y Trabajos Fin de Máster, y cuenta con más de 450 horas acreditadas de formación en competencias para la innovación docente en el ámbito universitario. A nivel de gestión, desde septiembre de 2025 figura como coordinador de TFG del Grado en Psicología de la Universidad Loyola Andalucía. Pertenece al grupo de investigación Loyola Health de la Universidad Loyola Andalucía, y al grupo de investigación Intervención Clínica en Medicina Comportamental y Psicología de la Salud (CTS-432) de la Universidad deSevilla.
