Pablo Brañas Garza es Catedrático de Economía del Comportamiento en la Universidad Loyola Andalucía desde Marzo de 2019. Previamente fue Professor of Behavioural Economics en Middlesex University London (2012-2018) y Catedrático de Fundamentos del Análisis Económico en la Universidad de Granada (2009-2012). Desde 2011 es Investigador Asociado del Economic Science Institute en Chapman University (USA).Su campo de trabajo es la Economía Experimental y del Comportamiento. Su investigación se centra en Altruismo, Cooperación, Paciencia, Incertidumbre y Habilidades Cognitivas. En los últimos años su investigación ha salido del laboratorio para hacer trabajo de campo. Ha realizado investigaciones de campo para el Banco Mundial, La Caixa, Gobierno de Perú o Major of London en Honduras, Nigeria, España, Inglaterra o Perú.Ha sido Presidente de la Society for the Advancement of Behavioral Economics (2016-2018) y es Editor Asociado en PLoS ONE y en el Journal of Experimental and Behavioral Economics. También es miembro del ESRC College. Ha publicado en revistas como Proceedings Royal Society B, International Economic Review, Games & Economic Behavior, Evolution & Human Behavior, Perspectives of Psychological Science, Biology Letters, Journal of Conflict Resolution, Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization, Journal of Behavioral Decision Making, Experimental Economics, Journal of Money, Credit & Banking or Nature Scientific Reports. En 2011 publicó el libro "Economía Experimental y del Comportamiento" (Barcelona: A Bosch) y en 2015 "Experimental Economics I, II" (Londres: Palgrave).Como docente ha impartido clases, además de la Universidad Loyola Andalucía, en la Universidad de Granada, Pais Vasco, Pablo de Olavide, Middlesex University London, Navarra o Sevilla.
