"English-Friendly" Courses:
The course catalogue includes a number of “English Friendly” subjects. Although these courses are officially taught in Spanish, instructors may provide additional support to students who are more comfortable using English. Such support can take different forms, including occasional communication in English, the recommendation of English-language reading materials, or the possibility of completing certain assignments and/or examinations in English. There is no specific regulation governing these practices; rather, they reflect a commitment to creating a more welcoming and accessible academic environment for international students, helping to reduce language barriers and support their integration into academic life.

Grading System

The Spanish grade scale is numerical, going from 0 to 10. A minimum of 5 is required to pass a course. The Transcript of Records will be sent by the Secretary General's office directly to the home university by e-mail at the end of the exchange, after the end of the semester. Exchange students that stay for a full academic year will receive their Transcript of Records at the end of the second semester.
Enrollment Process
2 months before the beginning of your exchange you will be given instructions to complete the enrollment as an exchange student at Loyola. You will receive an email with your personalized username and link to set up your password. With this information, you will be able to access the enrollment platform and do the course inscription.
