Live action role-playing (larp) represents a medium of interactive and intermedial fiction, between improvisational theatre and emerging narratives. This paper examines the authorial complexities of collaborative design in these collective experiences, which may be intensified by the integration of Generative Artificial Intelligence tools such as ChatGPT or Midjourney. Through the practical development of a larp in the Spanish context, we will analyze the artistic possibilities of these technologies and their impact on this type of ludonarrative creations. After providing these generative models with the maximum freedom, we will encounter an interactive proposal with a futuristic theme, curiously featuring an evil AI capable of subjugating humanity, which we can understand as a form of metafictional self-representation. Furthermore, alongside the creation of this design document-whose experience was named ProjectDark.ia-we will study the implications of developing a customized bot, with several applications capable of introducing the AI itself as a character within the experience, approaching the realm of digital literature and blurring the boundaries between fiction and reality. Lastly, alongside this analysis of the design processes between human and machine, we will present the initial results of the experience's development, with special attention to its reception by the first players.
