Abstract

With almost half a century behind, video games have become a very popular medium, reaching a wide social range. With their development, video games have found new forms of significance that goes beyond their interactive artifact, transforming the gaming experience into a spectacle for a close public that shares similar ideas in a constant exchange. One of these forms, heir of other dynamics as speedruns, are the no hit runs. This type of gameplay involves beating the game without taking a single hit. This study tries to express those elements included in the no hit experience, their application and the particularities observed in Team Hitless, a group of games and players that coordinates common rules with some others specific for each game.
