Knowledge and analysis of social realities

The research group undertakes scientific research in three main strands: The knowledge of social reality strand, in order to prepare analytical diagnoses of the most disadvantaged circumstances, as well as studies of organisations operating in the social field. The strand of analysis and evaluation of social value to delve into the methodologies used to guide, on the one hand, public policies and, on the other, the strategies, priorities and interventions of entities concerned with social progress. Finally, the researchers analyse management instruments intended to ensure the sustainability of organisations in order to differentiate the most effective and innovative practices in the context of comprehensive management of economic, social and environmental aspects. The results of the studies this group of scientists undertakes contribute to improving people’s quality of life, well-being and opportunities.
