Economy, development and sustainability

The research group works in two strategic strands: development and sustainability. This group focuses on two approaches, one macro and one micro. At the macro level, it explores how an economy can grow through its business agents. At the micro level, the researchers advocate company growth based on business models that seek long-term sustainability. This research brings together the work of scientists who seek to contribute to increasing economic development, and to create a business models for the companies that carry it out that prioritises healthier growth for consumers, workers and investors, and which, ultimately, brings about greater citizen well-being.
