Publications

Monika Kabata is a researcher and lecturer in the fields of International Relations and European Studies. She holds a BA and an MA in European Studies from the University of Wroclaw (Poland), and a PhD from Nottingham Trent University (United Kingdom). Her doctoral research examined the intersection of EU counter-terrorism, migration, and border control policies, focusing on both discourse and practices. She has taught at Nottingham Trent University and Loyola University, delivering courses in Political Science, European Studies, and International Relations. Her research interests lie at the intersection of Migration Studies, Security Studies, and European Studies, with a particular focus on securitisation theory and EU migration governance.
