I am Associate Professor at the Psychology Department of the Universidad Loyola Andalucía and I hold the position of Director of the Doctoral School. Principal researcher of the research group on "Prevention and Promotion of Health" at the Universidad Loyola Andalucía and researcher of the Research Network of Preventive Activities and Health Promotion (RedIAPP, RETICS RD16/0007/0010). The results of my research activity can be summarized in a total of 40 scientific publications. Of these, 32 are indexed in the Journal Citation Reports (JCR), 16 are indexed Q1 (of which 4 in D1). I am the first author in five scientific articles and the last author in another three. The H-index value is 9 and the sum of the total impact factor of my publications is 78,564. Principal researcher in two project funded by the Carlos III Health Institute and collaborating researcher in a total of 14 funded research projects, of which two are European projects, nine are national (Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, and Health Institute Carlos III) and three are regional projects (Ministry of Health, Junta de Andalucía). I have directed three doctoral theses (one \nof them is awaiting) and I am currently directing three others. I have also participated in 38 scientific congresses, 16 of them international, in addition, I have presented 7 articles in conferences and seminars. Since January 2013 I am a principal investigator of the research project “Diseño de una intervención compleja multiriesgo en atención primaria para fomentar conductas promotoras de salud en la población de 45 a 75 años: ensayo clínico exploratorio multicentrico funded by the Instituto de Salud Carlos III, which has continued with a new project funded "Ensayo híbrido de evaluación de una intervención compleja multiriesgo para promover conductas saludables en personas de 45 a 75 años atendidas en atención primaria: Estudio EIRA 3" (PI15/01151). I have been evaluator of four journals (three nationals and one international). I have done three international stays, two of them in the University of Minnesota and the other one in Caledonian University. In 2018, I have received an award in recognition of my research career and I also received the first IBIMA award for the best scientific publications. I am currently collaborating in the working groups of the \nEuropean Network on Individualized Psychotherapy Treatment of Young People with Mental Disorders (Cost Action 16102) and I am recently a membership in the International Society for Research on Internet Interventions (ISRII).
