Abstract Introduction: In recent years are many published studies related to the entrepreneurial phenomenon and the characteristics of the business environment that help or hinder the emergence of entrepreneurs. However, the number of studies analyzing the effect of university education on the development of entrepreneurship in students and graduates has been small. The main difficulty in conducting these types of studies lies in the multiplicity of factors that influence the development of skills and abilities and shaping the character of young entrepreneurs during their formative academic process. Objectives: This paper defines two complementary\n objectives. On the one hand, this paper develops a tool adapted to consider the personal characteristics and entrepreneurial behavior of university student. On the other hand, with the results of these characteristics differences between students will be analyzed throughout their training and university studies.\n Methodology: A questionnaire was constructed to evaluate the personal characteristics and business behaviors in college students. The questionnaire contains an adaptation of the Measure of Entrepreneurial Tendencies and Abilities questionnaire prepared by Ahmetoglu et al. (2011) and a questionnaire based on behaviors observed in the list of entrepreneurial behaviors proposed by Villa and Poblete (2007). This compound questionnaire was completed by 157 students of Business Administration degree from Loyola University Andalusia, defining their personal characteristics and personal profile.\n Results: The analysis of the completed questionnaires confirms the existence of an entrepreneurial profile and a less entrepreneurial profile and significant relationships between personal characteristics, some trends and entrepreneurial skills and entrepreneurial behavior of students with these profiles. The results obtained also confirm the existence of significant differences in the development of the entrepreneurial profile throughout the period of university education.\n Conclusions: College degree in Business Administration promotes the development of the entrepreneurial profile of students. This entrepreneurial profile evolves and increases throughout college, linked to personal characteristics of the student, the acquisition of knowledge necessary and specific skills that complete the graduate professional and personal profile.
