In 2015, the United Nations established the 2030 Agenda, whose ambitious scope involves addressing significant challenges in its implementation, highlighting the establishment of institutional governance frameworks and new methods of coordinating policies and bureaucratic procedures. Applying the methodology of a systematic case study of the Dominican Republic, we analyze how developing countries are facing these challenges. The findings reached can contribute to improving the implementation of the Agenda in other Latin American countries. © 2024, Ediciones Universidad de Salamanca. All rights reserved.
