| Abstract |
As a preparation for the Pauline Year (June 28th, 2008 to June 29th, 2009), this article brings us near the personality of Paul from one of the interrogants that has attracted more interest among the scholars and biographers of the Apostle: his education. Tarsus and Jerusalem have been considered as the two cities that made up Pauls personality. Scholars have focused their works in the presentation of data which, in an exclusive way, lean in favour of Jerusalem (Hebrew standpoint), or Tarsus (Hellenistic point of view).; En preparación al Año Paulino (28 de junio 2008-29 de junio 2009), el artículo nos acerca a la figura de Pablo desde una de las cuestiones que ha suscitado mayor interés entre los estudiosos de la biografía del apóstol: su educación. Tarso y Jerusalén ha sido presentadas tradicionalmente como dos ciudades que han configurado la personalidad de Pablo. Los estudiosos han centrado sus trabajos en la presentación de datos que, de manera excluyente, se han inclinado a favor de una de las dos ciudades: Jerusalén (perspectiva hebrea) o Tarso (perspectiva helenista). |
