| Abstract |
The present crisis produced by the COVID-19 has shaken the foundations of modern political life due to the need to protect the biological life of citizenships.This situation invites us to pay attention to Roberto Espositos understanding of the concept of biopolitics. Biopolitics implies a growing immediacy between human biology and politics. After evaluating its possibilities and limitations, in this essay we will propose that such concept offers very important contributions, like the connection between human nature and human spirit. Nevertheless, it is necessary to carry the concept beyond human biology toward the entire creation, and it should always be possible to evaluate the different political situations in function of the main ethico-political concepts.; La actual crisis del COVID-19, que ha sacudido las bases de la vida política por la necesidad de proteger la vida biológica de los ciudadanos, nos lleva a fijarnos en el concepto de biopolítica de Roberto Esposito. La biopolítica implica la conexión cada vez más inmediata entre biología humana y política. Tras valorar sus posibilidades y limitaciones, en este ensayo defendemos que dicho concepto tiene aportaciones muy importantes, especialmente el resaltar la conexión entre naturaleza y espíritu en el ser humano. Sin embargo, es necesario extenderlo más allá de la biología humana al resto de la creación, y que las situaciones políticas deben ser siempre evaluables según los principios ético-políticos en uso. |
