PhD in “Cognitive Psychology, Psychophysiology and Personality Psychology” from Sapieza-Universita di Roma. She continued her training with a postdoctoral contract in Spain at the Basque Center on Cognition, Brain and Language from 2008 to 2013. In 2014 she was hired by the Universidad Autónoma de Chile, where she worked until 2021 as a lecturer and researcher in the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities. She is currently employed as a Researcher at Universidad Loyola Andalucía. Her research falls within the field of Cognitive Neuroscience, particularly the study of cognitive processes in neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g., ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder) and neurocognitive alterations in older adults. Another central topic of her publications relates to sleep and the assessment of cognitive alterations in sleep-deprived individuals.
