Eva Mª Verdugo Sivianes es Doctora en Biología Molecular, Biomedicina e Investigación Clínica por la Universidad de Sevilla (2019). También es Licenciada en Biotecnología por la Universidad Pablo de Olavide (2013), posee el Máster Universitario en Investigación Biomédica de la Universidad de Sevilla (2014) y el Diploma de Especialización en Análisis Bioinformático de la Universidad Pablo de Olavide (2020). Actualmente, es profesora adjunta e investigadora de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud de la Universidad Loyola. Hasta su incorporación a la Universidad Loyola, Eva ha desarrollado su carrera investigadora en el Instituto de Biomedicina de Sevilla (IBiS). Durante su experiencia, ha participado en 24 publicaciones, siendo primera autora en 5 y 1 de correspondencia, en 8 proyectos de investigación y ha asistido a 13 congresos, con 33 pósters y 2 comunicaciones orales. Eva fue miembro del comité organizador del congreso III Young Researchers Meeting CIBERONC. También posee las acreditaciones de las Categorías B y C de Protección y Experimentación Animal y el título de inglés Certificate in Advanced English (CAE, nivel C1). Eva es miembro de las organizaciones de investigación en cáncer ASEICA, EACR y CIBERONC y ha participado en diversas actividades de divulgación de ASEICA y de la AECC. En 2020, Eva fue premiada con la Mención Especial en Ciencias Experimentales del Premio Joven a la Cultura Científica otorgado por el Ayuntamiento de Sevilla y el CSIC y en 2022, con el Premio Extraordinario de Doctorado de la Universidad de Sevilla, curso 2019-2020. Tras su etapa predoctoral, Eva recibió una ayuda postdoctoral de la Consejería de Transformación Económica, Industria, Conocimiento y Universidades de la Junta de Andalucía durante la cual realizó una estancia en el Centro de Investigación Biomédica de La Rioja (CIBIR) gracias a una ayuda del Programa de apoyo a la movilidad de Conexión Cáncer CSIC.
