  1. Theoretical-practical classes where the theoretical concepts of the session will be introduced in the first part and a practical example will be worked on in the second.

  2. Autonomous work to solve a problem assigned for evaluation.

  3. Practices in Google Collab to implement algorithms.

Presentación y discusión de los avances de investigación de los doctorandos del programa.  Retroalimentación constructiva.

Metodología

Exposiciones orales individuales de cada doctorando seguidas de turno de preguntas y debate. Sesión plenaria de discusión y retroalimentación colectiva

Evaluación

Asistencia a la jornada. Realización de la presentación oral de avances de investigación. Participación en los turnos de preguntas y debate.

With regard to basic competences, the following are intended to be developed:

Based on the aforementioned competencies, the aim is to:

1 - Be able to initiate a research process that leads to the completion of a Doctoral Thesis.

Aspectos a trabajar

The drafting of the Research Plan and the subsequent Monitoring Reports is a key point in the bureaucratic processes that the doctoral student must follow for the defence of his or her Thesis. Thus, this workshop is specifically aimed at learning how to present and prepare both documents with the aim of showing that they have the necessary competencies, skills and knowledge to later defend the thesis.

Metodología

The didactic instruments used to achieve the competencies will be, essentially, the master class and the autonomous work of the student.
