Abstract Abstract The issue of the relationship between science and faith has\n acquired greater relevance since the beginning of the century, time in\n which, after years of specialization and fragmentation of human\n knowledge, which have led to a cultural schizophrenia of the knower,\n there is a growing awareness of the need to integrate both to account\n for a multidimensional reality. After noticing the apparent tension\n between culture and the divine as realities that coexist in human\n beings, it is examined Panikkar’s proposal of a science that, without\n eliminating itself, without cancelling the mediation that it\n constitutes, nor divesting itself from its own methods, not even without\n abandoning immanence, recognizes in itself the divine: the infinite\n transcendence of the body -its character always open to mystery- and its\n infinite immanence -its unfathomable depth-. This corresponds to the\n author’s theophysics, so that, in it, it does not happen something\n similar to what Wittgenstein indicates about the ladder of which one can\n get rid once up -when the significance of the divine has been attained-,\n but in it the ladder -the physical dimension- is preserved and\n surpassed.
