MULTIMICRO

MULTIMICRO

Many people living in vulnerable isolated communities across the world do not have access to electricity and they are disproportionately dependent on the availability of oil for their well-being. Continuous cost reduction of photovoltaic solar and energy storage technologies suggests that such communities could access to electricity by deploying electrical microgrids.

The main goal of MULTIMICRO project is to study and define the intelligent management and control architecture of distributed power systems based on interconnected microgrids to be deployed in communities without electricity access.
