Loyola.Tech participates in the "Project Development Week"

During the week November 20-24 Loyola.tech took part in the Project Development Week organized in Brussels by ERRIN, the European Regions Research and Innovation Network. The event aimed at facilitating the setup of consortia to and build new partnerships in order to develop new projects to be presented to the Program Horizon 2020 under its different areas (energy, bioeconomy, health, ICT, smart cities and so on) in light of the publication of the 2018-2020 Work Programme.


Horizon 2020 is the biggest EU Research and Innovation programme ever with nearly €80 billion of funding available over 7 years (2014 to 2020) seen as a means to drive economic growth and create jobs in the EU.


Loyola.tech actively participated in the event attending meetings aimed at creating new projects and consortia and presenting to the audience the Institute, its research lines and potential ideas in order to develop new collaborative projects.


More than 500 participants registered to this event, 75 projects ideas were presented in the 8 sessions organized during the week in order to cover all areas of H2020.


ERRIN is a Brussels-based platform of more than 120 regional stakeholders organisations that supports regional research and innovation capacity building by facilitating regional collaboration and partnerships and the open and rapid exchange of knowledge in a context of trust and confidence.
