Marketing for Society


Marketing for inclusive and sustainable human development

The research group consists of teaching and research staff from the Departments of Business Management and Communication and Education at Universidad Loyola, with the active collaboration of external lecturers from Loyola University Chicago. Its general aim is to study and problematise the complex and systemic relationships between marketing processes, markets and society, and it seeks to offer proposals that result in more humane, inclusive and sustainable development. The group works on such matters as: food marketing systems and their impact on quality of life; inclusion and sustainability in marketing systems; macromarketing; incorporating the gender lens into marketing decisions; analysis of the social influence of communication; social marketing and social responsibility in marketing.
It is one of the research teams that support the Business Capacities, Economic Growth and Development strand of the Doctoral Programme in Inclusive and Sustainable Development at Universidad Loyola.
