Why study International Relations + Communication?
In times of globalization, with more powerful international companies, ever more independent government agendas, social and environmental problems, renewed bouts of violence – like those of terrorism- and, in spite of all this, a tie that strengthens with each passing day between countries, languages and cultures, there is a growing need for citizens of the world to stay informed in order to be able to make the correct decisions affecting their choice of leaders, how to invest, educate , travel, and , in short, how to live. This is the why it is important to know how to interpret what is happening beyond our borders, to know how to describe it and to have an international profile.
The dual degree in Communications and International Relations offers the possibility of obtaining two undergraduate degrees in only five years’ time with a versatile profile that multiplies career prospects related to the exercise of journalism and public communication and the ever more important relationship between countries.
Graduates in Communications and International Relations develop the required competencies to understand the international framework, with a broad grasp of how to describe it and transform it. Thanks to their training, graduates in Communications and International Relations can be press correspondents, responsible for public communication for NGOs or companies, consultants in international security or specialists in the resolution of crises in many types of situations.
At the same time the degree furthers language learning as of the very first course of the degree, because half of the subjects are taught in English. The dual degree, with a balanced blend of theory and practice, offers a multidisciplinary curriculum: journalism, public communication, international relations, security and foreign policy, economy, and law among other subjects.
Students can participate in academic exchanges in the most prestigious universities in Europe, the United States, Asia and South America.
Graduates in Communications + International Relations
