The Department of Engineering of Loyola University Andalusia is composed of a young team of teachers and researchers with an excellent academic record vouched for by different quality evaluating agencies, both at regional and national level.
The department carries out remarkable research activity reflected in numerous scientific publications in journals of international prestige, located in the most demanding rankings according to the impact index. The main research line of the department is the optimization, monitoring and control of distributed systems, like smart grids (networks of electrical transport) and smart cities.
