Career Prospects
Graduates with the Early Childhood Education Degree can be teachers of children from 0 to 6 years of age in public, State-subsidized and private centers, where they can also find employment as secretaries, chiefs of studies or directors.
They can also work as teachers in non-formal educational centers or institutions (shelters, prison facilities, further education centers, academies, sociocultural centers, museums, zoos, parks, theaters, juvenile centers, training academies, NGOs, etc.).
Graduates will be prepared to set up their own: Early Childhood centers, playroom centers, business organizing outside free-time activities for schools or tutoring academies. In this sense, Loyola University also offers subjects from the Business Administration and Management Degree that will allow students to become well-versed in this environment.
Graduate in Early Childhood Education will be qualified to design, develop and elaborate educative and informative material as well as auxiliary elements for the teaching profession and educational research.
Internships
For the Degree in Primary Education, Loyola University provides its students with the possibility of doing internships in external companies and institutions. The external internships are managed by the Service of Employability and Entrepreneurship which coordinates all the processes and activities leading to the correct development of these internships, which are regulated by existing legislation and the internal regime which complements it.The internships programmed in the curriculum are based, in great part, on the agreements being reached with FERE-CECA and Education and Management, so that its members take our students into their educational centers, Education and Management is the majority association of State-subsidized private school education in Spain, while FERE-CECA is the group of those heading Catholic educational centers.

Graduate in Bilingual Primary Education
Education is the foundation of any society, which is why Loyola University offers the Degree in Bilingual Primary Education to train teachers to be able to respond to the educational needs raised by families, schools and society.
The Degree in Primary Education is for students who wish to teach children from 6 to 12 years of age. English is of primordial importance in the training and in the curriculum of the Degree in Primary Education, so over half of the subjects are given in English by native or highly qualified teachers. This language has become a key and necessary tool in professional development in the field of education. In this sense, in order to assure a professional command of English, internships will be offered in bilingual centers.
The University also has a volunteer service and offers students the possibility of collaborating with Educational centers as of their first year of study, which facilitates greater contact with educational reality in different contexts, increasing social and teaching skills, and most importantly, favoring the transformation of the educative community in returning the children to the limelight.
