The Department of Humanities and Philosophy consists of teaching and research faculty in these areas at the University with accredited professional careers, and develops two main lines of research in two major fields. The first revolves around the axis of human rights and lines of current social transformation, fully understood as a process of reconstruction of local and planetary social relations, and political, legal, economic, ethnical, gender and ecological relations.
The second is research with sources of Ignatian and Jesuit tradition in dialogue with cultural, religious and spiritual traditions and their ways of life, as they help us today to face current socio-anthropological challenges.
