Awards for Academic Excellence (Undergraduates)

Loyola University wishes to award an economic prize to those students who have demonstrated high academic performance in those studies that gave them access to official degrees, or those who are already in our University and have performed with excellence in the last academic course.

Thus, the Board of Loyola University decided that the Award for Academic Excellence is to be granted to students whose academic performance the previous year was excellent and exceeded a certain average grade.

New students

This award is granted to those who obtain a mark in the Admission Test to the University (Selectivity) equal to or over 9 points (calculated out of 10).

One grant will be awarded for every 12 new students registered in each degree.

It is not necessary to apply for this award, as it will be granted directly when the requirements are met.

This award is granted as a loan (without interest) which will become a non-repayable grant upon graduation from Loyola University. If these University studies are abandoned before completion, the amount granted by the Award for Excellence will have to be returned by the student.

The amount of the prize to be awarded each year will correspond to University academic fees up to a maximum of 60 enrolled credits in single degrees and a maximum of 72 enrolled credits in dual degrees

Ongoing students

You can receive this award if you have been enrolled the previous year in one of the degrees offered by Loyola University.

This aid is incompatible with any other granted by Loyola University.

One prize will be awarded for every 20 students enrolled in each year of the degree.

This award is granted as a loan (without interest) which will become a non-repayable grant upon graduation from Loyola University. If these University studies are abandoned before completion, the amount granted by the Award for Academic Excellence will have to be returned by the student
