Information
This campus has recently become the first integrated university campus in the world to be recognized with Leed Platinum certification, due to its strong commitment to the integral sustainability of the entire complex.
This certification, granted by the USGBC (U.S. Green Building Council), has been awarded to the Universidad Loyola campus after exhaustive controls and checks of more than one hundred indicators regarding sustainability, efficiency of water and energy consumption, use of materials and resources, indoor environmental quality, design and innovation and compliance with sustainability priorities in its location.
Universidad Loyola's proposal has gone beyond the traditional campus concept, making it an example of efficiency, responsibility and technology at the service of people. The construction of the 29,000 m2 complex, designed by Luis Vidal + Architects and with Bovis as Project Manager in the construction, was wrapped in record time (17 months) and since September 2, 2019 it has hosted a university community of more than 2,500 people.
