The Information Technologies Service plays a variety of roles that are transversal to different policy areas of the University. More specifically, it offers the following services to the students:
- Moodle Campus. The e-learning platform to support training at all levels (degrees, Master’s, Executive Programs, etc.)
- Cloud Services. A space for collaboration in the cloud, which includes services like the University e-mail, calendar, address book, on-line office, storage and document sharing, etc.
The University offers Wi-Fi connections in all indoor areas, on both campuses. We are currently in the process of also providing this service outdoors. It is a multi-device network to which students can be connected by using their University username and password.
The University has a total of five computer classrooms for teaching purposes in the subjects that require them in class time, and for students to use freely in the institution for their studies.
There are three classrooms with this operative system: two of these are in Building F in the Seville Campus, for 45 and 24 students, respectively, and one classroom in Building 1 in the Campus of Cordoba, for 36 students. Each one has the specific software to cater to the needs of education and the work required.
There are two MAC classrooms, one in the G Building on the Seville Campus and one in Building 1 on the Cordoba Campus. Each holds 20 students, is equipped with 21.5” iMACs, with a complete package of Adobe, specific software for audio and video processing , and other software necessary for the teaching given and student work in different subjects.
