Living in Seville
Sevilla is the capital of Andalusia. With a population of some 700,000 inhabitants, it is the most populated city in the community and the fourth in Spain after Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia. Its old town is the largest in Spain and one of the three largest in Europe along with Venice and Genoa. Its historical and monumental heritage together with the diverse scenic and cultural sites constitute a city that welcomes both national and international tourism. Its most representative monuments are the cathedral and its tower the 'Giralda', the Real Alcazar, the Archivo de Indias (which have been World Heritage Sites as declared by Unesco since 1987) and the Torre del Oro.
